It may completely change my career path which is very exciting to think I could do something independently. this course is giving us more than just new exercises and education we’re getting confidence and new perspective–Kristin J, Aug. 2020

It really did challenge me to think about how to use the knowledge we’re given about exercises and apply them in purposeful ways to meet the needs of specific populations or to address a particular part of the body. –Sarah B, Aug. 2020

The information from this course was relevant to my practice as an outpatient physical therapist. I will be able to utilize exercises, modifications, and cueing with many of my current and future patients. In addition, I plan to teach Pilates classes, specifically for dancers and gymnasts, once my certification is completed.”

Danielle E, June 2020

There are several areas that this course has affected the way in which I teach. Instructions and verbiage while teaching – making instructions more easily understood to the average client with no medical background. As well, I will be changing the way in which I prepare for teaching a class – the planning will be much different. Meridith Norwood, June 2020

I learned a new aspect of teaching from an entirely different perspective and it challenged me to think more about the flow and continuity of the exercises and how impactful that can be on a class and in learning a new series or new techniques. Matwork 2 exposed me to the class instructor side of Pilates, which took me out of my comfort zone and helped me to apply Pilates in a difference scenario than 1:1 patient treatment sessions.’ — Dallas,  Jun 2018
