Online Cadillac Series – 4 Day Course

$1,499.00

The Cadillac is especially good when it comes to looking at rehabilitation of the upper limb with a huge range of shoulder specific exercises. In addition, the range of mobilization and articulation movements that can be performed on the Cadillac is superior to any other piece of the equipment. With exercises from lying, to kneeling and all the way to standing there really is no limit to what you can achieve, adapt and evolve with your Cadillac based repertoire.

APPI’s Cadillac Certification course will take you through an enormous variety of exercises and the in-depth reasoning behind each exercise. We will analyze each exercise  looking at the clients’ performance of the movement, any dysfunction that we may see, and how to assess and manage this to lead your client back to full health and wellness. The course will progress from beginner all the way to full strength and conditioning exercises.

You can take this course individually as its own certification. Once the course is completed, you can take an online exam to become an APPI Certified Cadillac Pilates Instructor. You will have 4 weeks access to the course content, which you can watch as many time as you like and at your own pace. Following completion of the course, you can take 1 practical exam in order to become an  APPI Cadillac Certified Pilates Instructor.

During the course you’ll learn a large variety of beginner, intermediate and advanced original & APPI evolved Pilates movements along with countless modifications and variations. Special consideration is made to movement selection, muscle recruitment and patterning, alignment, modification, feedback and progression throughout the tutorials.

The theoretical workshops will develop and refine visual, tactile, audio cueing, 1:1 program planning, home exercise program planning and group teaching for students to develop their skills and confidence to become comprehensive and articulate teachers. The course will look at individual teaching and 1:1 program planning as well as discuss how to run mixed studio sessions where you incorporate other pieces of equipment into a group session.

“I have attended several APPI courses previously to expand my Pilates education. I’ve done both in person and online. When deciding which provider to complete my Equipment series training with, it made sense to go with APPI.

I like that the APPI method is based on rehab so that it gives you a firm grounding in why you’re doing the exercise and how it can help your client.

After the in-person weekends I have also found Sarah Chambers to be very helpful with providing feedback on Case Studies and also allowing us to do class observations over Zoom for those who have struggled to find appropriate classes in person.”
