Prior to attending the Matwork Level One course it is essential that you watch the pre-course lectures

To prepare for this course please print off the Pilates Matwork Training Certification Logbook which can be found by clicking on the lesson link below. Please bring your training Logbook along for the course as this will need to be signed by an APPI presenter as a record of your training.
You will also need to bring the following with you for the course:
- A exercise mat
- A towel
We also recommend prior to attending the Matwork Level One course that you complete the following:
- View the video of Deep Neck Flexor workshop part 1 and part 2. A link for both workshops can be found under the Mat-work Level One course on the APPI UK website or by typing the following link into your web browser http://appihealthgroup.com/Education/Pilates-Matwork/MW1.
- Attend a minimum of 5 hours of Pilates classes so that you are familiar with the Pilates method.
A case study workshop will take place at the end of day two and so in order to enhance your learning experience, we ask that you think of a patient that you might be able to use for this workshop. Being able to apply your new skills to a real case will make this workshop much more valuable for you.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing as there is a large practical component.
Lunch is not included in the course fees. However, there will be plenty of local reasonably priced cafes and sandwich bars close by. Alternatively feel free to bring your own packed lunch.
Please note your certificate of attendance will be sent to you electronically to the email address that you have provided, 2 weeks after the course end date.
