Her focus is on evidenced based exercise prescription, clinically based Pilates, manual therapy, education and preventative wellness. She has presented at complex spine and scoliosis clinics, medical clinics on back safety and injury prevention, community and senior centers, and health fairs as well as hosted events through her studio. In addition to her work with human clients, Kellie is also a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Therapist (CERT) treating equine athletes for physical therapy and rehabilitation. It was her work with horses and their riders that initially focused her attention on Pilates as an excellent form of core strengthening. However it was not until her first APPI class in 2011 that the power of Pilates as a research based clinical tool in rehabilitation was brought home. As a life long athlete, both competitive and recreational, she is committed to helping all those she works with remain active participants in life. She lives in Riverside, California with her husband and their equine and feline children.
