Rachel was born in Chicago, and grew up near Denver, CO. She graduated with a B.S. in Human Performance & Physical Education, while playing basketball for Adams State University. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. She works as a Physical Therapist at an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in northern Colorado, that also specializes in the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI).
Rachel has a great passion for sports medicine and functional rehabilitation, and her additional interests include PRI, vestibular therapy, strength & conditioning, nutrition, and running.
Rachel was first introduced to Pilates through APPI, and she became an APPI Certified Matwork Pilates Instructor in 2016. She loves integrating Pilates and the APPI method into her personal and PT practice, and is truly passionate about the health benefits exercise and activity can provide. Rachel joined APPI as a course presenter in 2017. She continues to grow through additional course training, and enjoys integrating Pilates classes into her PT and wellness practice.
