Fibrous bands are encircling her right calf, right index and ring fingers, and left thumb. She already has a distal digital amputation of her right middle finger. Treatment of band indentation has consisted of band excision and soft tissue recontouring with Z- or W- plasties. Tight deep bands may narrow the underlying bone. Proximal bands can cause neural compression.
