We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the APPI method by attending some Pilates classes with an APPI Certified Instructor, you can find your nearest APPI Pilates Instructor by clicking HERE. If you are unable to find an APPI Certified instructor local to you, you can purchase our ONLINE CLASSES and join in at home.
You can also purchase the ‘Pilates for Lower Back Pain’ or the ‘Matwork Series’ DVDs to become familiar with the APPI teaching style. For a pre-course discount of 25% on these DVDs, please email contact@appihealthgroup.com.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing as there is a large practical component. Lunch is not included in the course fees. However, there are plenty of local reasonably priced cafes and sandwich bars close by. Alternatively feel free to bring your own packed lunch.

Course Overview
This one day workshop explores the use of Pilates exercises to improve the skill, strength and performance of cyclists. On the course, you will review the biomechanics and key physical attributes for cycling, as well as review the typical injuries seen and their contributing factors. Applying sound training principles, you will also explore the development of a high level, cycling specific Pilates programme.
Course Content

- the role of Pilates in the cycling training
- how to effectively and appropriately train a cyclist using the APPI Pilates Method
