To prepare for this course we recommend you spend some time refreshing your teaching skills. Below are
some recommendations for this:
- Attend some Pilates classes to refresh your teaching. We have a range of online classes which you can also use as preparation for the course and they can purchase through our Online Learning Portal, we would recommend the following class:

- We recommend that you view the APPI Advanced Level DVD to assist you with this course. This DVD includes the five Modified Pilates key elements as well as a 50 minute Advanced Pilates class. For a special course price discount 25% on this DVD, please email info@appiamerica.com. Please be aware that we also sell Matwork Series DVD that includes all three levels (beginner, intermediate & advanced).
- Please bring your matwork level one manual with you for reference throughout the course as well as your certification log book as it needs to be signed.
- Please wear loose, comfortable clothing as there is a large practical component.
- Lastly, if you studied Matwork Level One over 24 months ago, we advise you to purchase a copy of the updated matwork level one repertoire. This includes copies of all the exercises from matwork level one.
Please note:
- Lunch is not included in the course fees. However, there are plenty of local reasonably priced cafes and sandwich bars close by. Alternatively feel free to bring your own gourmet delights!

All course feedback and self-reflections must be submitted following the course in order to received your certificate of completion. Please take a moment to complete the Feedback and Self-Reflection forms here HERE
Certificates
Your certificate of completion will only be available once you have attended the course, completed the feedback and self-reflection form. Once your feedback and self-reflection form have been received a certificate of completion will be emailed out to you within 2 weeks.
